An African-American Radical Feminist Booklist: a partial list here

I hope to soon be posting a truly amazing piece of writing by Patricia Hill Collins that I found online with LOTS of typos. It appears to be from an early version of Black Feminist Thought. And while she has revised her text, this version has so much that's good in it, that I'd like to see it without typos appear on the internet.

For now, though, related books to recommend! Enjoy!!! (Please note how many stars they get.)

Dr. Vandana Shiva, Speaking in Chattanooga, TN, USA, 26 April 2011

It is always a breath of fresh air to hear radical ecofeminist Vandana Shiva speak out for justice for the Earth and its citizens.

All that follows is from YouTube. With thanks to gaingroundcha, for posting this.

On April 26, 2011, environmentalist Dr. Vandana Shiva spoke in Chattanooga as a part of the Benwood Foundation's George T. Hunter Lecture Series. Her speech focused on the environmental issues surrounding industrial agriculture and the solutions our community can focus on to address those issues.

This video was filmed during her 2-day visit to Chattanooga, and features clips from her speech, as well as personal interviews with Dr. Shiva and engaged Chattanooga citizens.
